I left school in the sixties and joined a radio and television company as an apprentice engineer, I went to tech and gained my City and Guilds qualification, I became a radio amateur... And I'm now running my own business repairing and restoring vintage valve radios and record players. So, who wants to listen to an old nineteen forties radio? Who are my customers? You'd be surprised by the amount of people from all walks of life who have rummaged around in the loft and brought their old radios to me. But people are also buying fully restored radios.
